There were emotion parasites once, but it was a long time ago. And just, like, in general-- all kinds of shit happens in breaches.

You're going to have to explain to a man what you mean by emotion parasites. Were those parasites emotional or did they mess with one's emotions?

Actually, it might've been both.

But they infected people, and messed with their heads in different ways. Some people were made angry and violent because of it.

And angry and violent people gave us a repeat of what we just suffered.

Makes you wonder how these things tie into the idea of 'redemption,' doesn't it.

I try not to give a shit what the Admiral thinks or wants.

But aren't you working for him? One would think you'd at least give a small shit about what's going through the boss's head.

Yeah, I'm here by choice and I can leave if I want, but that doesn't mean I think of him as my boss.

It's complicated. I don't know if I can think of a term for it. He's just... the Admiral.

You might need to think of a term for it then. At least, before someone makes that decision for you.
